Service Technician FRS

About the role

Survitec is seeking a Service Technician FRS to join its Operations team in Senoko, Singapore. The role involves delivering installation, maintenance and repair services for fire rescue systems while adhering to quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver servicing, installation, maintenance and repair activities to quality and safety standards.
• Identify and communicate process‑improvement opportunities across the service footprint.
• Represent Survitec professionally during customer interactions and provide technical product knowledge.
• Assist specialists in setting up and testing new products; install complex systems according to training.
• Carry out preventive‑maintenance inspections and diagnose equipment and system issues.
• Follow Survitec health, safety and environment policies, mitigating risks to people and the environment.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through store requisition processes.
• Work with the Service Operations Manager to devise monthly schedules and ensure appropriate manpower.
• Contribute to business‑improvement initiatives, problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis.
• Uphold Survitec values and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• High‑school education (4 GCSEs or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience operating unsupervised in a technical service role.
• Ability to work independently and obtain supervisor authorization for procedural exceptions.
• Commitment to continuous learning and competence across multiple product lines.
