Service Technician – FRS

About the role

Survitec is seeking a Service Technician (FRS) to join its Operations team in Senoko, Singapore. The role involves delivering installation, maintenance and repair services to high quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement across the service footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance and repair activities in line with quality, safety and standard work routines.
• Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
• Represent Survitec professionally during customer interactions and provide technical answers.
• Assist specialists in setting up and testing new products or processes; install complex systems as trained.
• Carry out preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose emergency repair needs.
• Follow Survitec policies, regulatory codes and obtain supervisor authorisation for any procedural exceptions.
• Collaborate with the Service Operations Manager to plan monthly schedules and ensure adequate manpower.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies, mitigating risks to people and the environment.
• Develop competence across multiple product lines through training, coaching and self‑directed learning.
• Maintain accurate stock records and follow requisition processes.
• Work with improvement teams to implement standard toolkits and resolve process variances.
• Promote Survitec values and a safety‑first culture within the team.

Required profile

• High school education (minimum 4 GCSEs or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of relevant service, installation or maintenance experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and achieve full competence in at least one Survitec service area.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and continuous learning.
