Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician will perform on‑site preventive maintenance and ad‑hoc remedial repairs for customer equipment. The role ensures high system availability and supports customers throughout the service lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance visits on customer sites.
• Provide timely remedial repair services as required.
• Maintain equipment uptime of at least 98% and meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Conduct pre‑delivery inspections before equipment is shipped to customers.
• Update and manage customers' install‑base records.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and suggestions professionally.

Required profile

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications such as MS Office, CAD and simple programming.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to perform rotating standby duties and overtime, with appropriate remuneration.
