Site Development Engineering Manager – APAC

About the role

This strategic regional position supports the identification, assessment and development of new data‑centre sites across the Asia‑Pacific region. The manager will evaluate land and technical feasibility, coordinate with utilities and external stakeholders, and help secure investment and funding approvals for large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical due diligence and feasibility assessments for prospective development sites.
• Assess power, fibre/connectivity, water and other utility availability.
• Liaise with utility providers, telecom vendors, consultants and government agencies.
• Support facility sizing, infrastructure planning and overall development strategy.
• Prepare technical inputs and business cases for investment and funding approvals.
• Partner closely with commercial, engineering, construction and finance teams.
• Drive regional expansion projects across multiple APAC markets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in development, infrastructure, engineering, pre‑construction or technical project development.
• Proven ability to assess land, utilities and infrastructure feasibility for large‑scale projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience contributing to investment and business‑case discussions.
• Background in mission‑critical infrastructure, industrial real‑estate, energy, telecoms, construction or engineering environments is preferred.
• Exposure to APAC markets is highly advantageous.
