Site Engineer – Rail Signalling Projects

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Site Engineer to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of signalling system projects on‑site. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders for signalling system design and implementation.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Construction/Installation Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, installation procedures, and quality standards.
• Conduct on‑site toolbox meetings and progress meetings with subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, resolve drawing discrepancies, and manage site manpower, material, and equipment demands.
• Prepare recovery plans for delayed activities and oversee testing & commissioning timelines.
• Liaise with drafting/BIM teams and relevant parties for documentation submissions.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent, or 1‑3 years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred).
