Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Hybrid in Singapore

About the role

The client, a leading FinTech firm, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Linux Platform Engineer to manage and optimise a low‑latency Linux estate. The role blends Linux systems engineering with reliability engineering, focusing on automated, scalable deployments across private and public cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and support automated deployment solutions for high‑performance Linux workloads.
• Maintain and improve reliability of low‑latency systems in both project and business‑as‑usual contexts.
• Implement infrastructure as code and manage cloud resources in private and public clouds.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to drive automation and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
• Hands‑on knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker or Podman).
• Solid scripting/programming skills in Python.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and handle high‑throughput, low‑latency workloads.
