Social Copywriter & Community Manager

About the role

Maker Lab is seeking a Social Copywriter & Community Manager to act as the voice of a major tourism brand. You will craft B2B and B2C social copy, drive engagement, and nurture a vibrant online community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily community interactions, responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely, on‑brand manner.
• Develop and execute compelling copy for multiple social platforms, from ideation through publishing.
• Proactively spark conversations, pose thoughtful questions, and create prompts that encourage user participation.
• Monitor sentiment, detect emerging issues, and provide crisis alerts to internal teams.
• Provide regular feedback and insights to creative and strategic teams about community trends and preferences.
• Collaborate with the Social Strategist to ensure alignment with brand tone and strategic goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of professional experience in community management and creative copywriting.
• Deep understanding of social media audiences, platform formats, and best practices.
• Familiarity with entertainment, internet, and pop‑culture online communities and current social trends.
• Strong knowledge of local cultural context to produce resonant communication.
• Highly motivated self‑starter capable of creative problem‑solving under pressure.
