Social media executive

About the role

Eventful, a fast‑growing Singapore digital media company, is hiring its first full‑time Social Media Executive. You will own the creation and distribution of short‑form video and visual content that reaches millions of Singaporeans each month across Instagram, TikTok and Lemon8.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, shoot and edit short‑form videos for Eventful SG and Eventful Food, including food reviews, street challenges and event coverage.
• Design Instagram carousel posts and develop new visual formats.
• Manage the content calendar: plan, schedule and publish on Instagram, TikTok and Lemon8.
• Handle community interaction – respond to comments, DMs and run comment‑to‑DM campaigns for brand partners.
• Support branded content campaigns from idea to delivery, working directly with the founder and partners.
• Analyse performance data to refine future content.
• Identify emerging trends early and act quickly.
• Coordinate with freelance creatives to ensure consistent, on‑brand output.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation or a related field (strong personal or school portfolio welcomed).
• Confidence shooting and editing short‑form video on mobile using tools such as CapCut.
• Deep familiarity with Singapore internet culture and current TikTok trends.
• Excellent written English with a casual, relatable Singaporean tone.
• Comfortable working on‑site at hawker centres, events and food trails, including occasional weekend shoots.
• Self‑directed, reliable and ready to take ownership from day one.
• Bonus: experience with paid social, Canva workflows or F&B and lifestyle brands.
