Software Engineer (Data Discovery and Operations)

About the role

As a Software Engineer you will join a multidisciplinary product development team that enables data discovery and supports data‑driven decision‑making. The team designs, builds and operates technical data solutions that streamline data search, facilitate exploration of data assets and help users make sense of information. You will work across the full stack, from data pipelines to backend services and front‑end interfaces, and adopt state‑of‑the‑art technologies including AI components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality applications and data pipelines.
• Source, evaluate and integrate cutting‑edge technologies into solutions.
• Debug and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Participate in code and design reviews to improve architecture.
• Stay updated with industry trends in software and data engineering.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in application development.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Python, Java and JavaScript programming.
• ReactJS/TypeScript and Spring Boot.
• Microservice architecture and REST API design.
• Relational (MSSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, Elasticsearch.
• Git and Agile development methodologies.
