Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a professional Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Singapore. You will design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications and ensure the reliability of our cloud‑based production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 17+ backend applications using Spring Boot 3.x.
• Design, build, and support microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services such as ECS, EC2, and RDS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to automate environment provisioning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, AWS CodeCommit, and CodePipeline.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for Oracle and other relational databases.
• Monitor system health using Grafana and AWS CloudWatch and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage authentication and authorization with Okta.
• Integrate APIs using MuleSoft to connect disparate systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align expectations and ensure project success.

Required profile

• Professional level experience in Java backend development.
• Proven ability to work with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ownership of production systems.
