Software Engineer – Java & SQL

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Singapore and contribute to major projects in the semiconductor manufacturing domain. You will work on the development, integration, and automation of enterprise applications, gaining hands‑on exposure to large‑scale corporate software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java applications that interface with various enterprise systems.
• Automate business processes and system workflows through custom software solutions.
• Write, implement and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.
• Integrate software components to ensure seamless communication between corporate and third‑party tools.
• Identify and implement improvements for system performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality software.
• Provide technical support, issue resolution and performance tuning for production systems.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, interfaces and automated processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering, system integration or enterprise application development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to software quality.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
