Software Engineer – Robotics Systems Integration

About the role

DCONSTRUCT ROBOTICS is seeking a Software Engineer to join its systems integration team in Singapore. You will design, develop and integrate software for robotic platforms that address complex real‑world challenges, working closely with clients and hardware teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sensor drivers and integrate various sensors into robotic systems.
• Design and implement a core C++ program for data collection on mobile platforms.
• Create native applications to analyse and visualise collected data.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and stakeholders to ensure a robust, functional data‑collection platform.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into effective software features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in robotics, computer graphics or computer vision.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to end‑users and team members.

Required skills

• Modern C++ programming.
• Data structures and algorithms.
• Memory allocation, cache performance and data‑oriented programming.
• High‑performance native code development and debugging.
• Experience with large code bases.
• Knowledge of robotics, computer graphics or computer vision.
• Linear algebra and geometry.
