Solution Consultant Lead – Indirect Tax & e-Invoicing

About the role

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Solution Consultant Lead for its Asia Markets division, focusing on indirect tax and e‑invoicing solutions. In this player‑coach position you will balance personal revenue targets with the responsibility of building and guiding a high‑performing team of solution consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual quota by delivering pre‑sales consulting and designing tax and accounting solutions for corporate clients.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a team of solution consultants, conducting regular one‑on‑ones, performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Lead client engagements, conduct demos, host design‑thinking workshops and create proof‑of‑concepts that showcase platform capabilities.
• Allocate opportunities across the team, manage capacity planning and ensure balanced workload distribution.
• Translate market trends and client feedback into enablement programs, coaching sessions and solution strategies for the team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in solution consulting for tax and accounting products, with a strong record of pre‑sales success.
• Recognised subject‑matter authority in indirect tax, e‑invoicing and related workflows.
• Demonstrated player‑coach ability to meet personal sales goals while developing others.
• Proven relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders and internal partners.
