Solutions Architect (CDE & Construction Digitalisation)

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is hiring a Solutions Architect for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Jurong. The role defines and evolves the architecture, information management strategy and technology roadmap for JTC's Partner Experience (PX) platform and Common Data Environment (CDE) ecosystem, governing how project, design, construction, handover and operational information is exchanged across JTC and its partners.

Key responsibilities

• CDE architecture and strategy: define the target architecture and technology roadmap, balancing collaboration, construction digitalisation, BIM coordination, governance, interoperability and scalability.
• Information architecture and governance: define information structures and controls for ownership, stewardship, permissions, approval states, retention, auditability and traceability, aligned with ISO 19650.
• Platform architecture: design reusable patterns for document management, BIM coordination, workflows, collaboration, issue management, approvals, partner onboarding and digital handover, avoiding vendor lock-in.
• Integration architecture: define API strategies, event-driven patterns and interoperability standards connecting CDE, BIM, project delivery, asset management and enterprise systems, including Autodesk, Nemetschek, LeapThought, Bentley, Procore and Oracle Aconex.
• Guide Product Managers, Business Analysts, Experience Designers and Engineering teams, and work with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, cloud and platform engineering teams.
• Evaluate vendors and promote open standards and interoperability.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in solution, enterprise, platform architecture or large-scale systems integration.
• Demonstrated experience delivering construction technology, project information management, CDE or BIM solutions.
• Experience designing ecosystem-level platforms and defining architecture standards, reference architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and architecture governance capability.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and multi-party information exchange.
• Preferred hands-on experience with CDE, BIM or construction collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Nemetschek, LeapThought, Bentley, Procore or Oracle Aconex.
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure, API management, event-driven architecture, microservices, SaaS platform architecture, identity and access management, and information governance and security architecture.
