Solutions Architect - Public Sector

About the role

HRnetOne is hiring a Solutions Architect in Singapore to lead the technical strategy, design and deployment of complex enterprise software systems for public sector clients. Working on the system integrator side, the role acts as the main technical expert linking engineering delivery teams with government statutory boards and ministries.

Key responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable and highly available solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, Node.js, microservices and AWS.
• Lead technical solutioning for GeBIZ tenders and RFPs, including architecture blueprints, technical proposals and resource estimations.
• Oversee application migration, cloud deployment and onboarding in line with GCC/MCC requirements.
• Present solution designs to government stakeholders, PMOs and technical teams, manage risks and support technical governance.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including SAST/DAST testing, to meet Singapore Government IM8 security requirements.
• Guide engineering teams through deployment, release management, security remediation and production handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of enterprise software engineering and delivery experience, including 5 years in solution architecture for public-sector projects.
• Valid AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Recognised enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF or IASA CITA.
• Ability to meet Singapore Government security clearance requirements.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
