Sr Manager, Global Accounts

About the role

PayPal is looking for a Senior Account Manager for its Global Accounts team in Singapore. The role owns the strategy and commercial goals for partnerships with some of PayPal's largest global partners, building a pipeline of value-based opportunities and growing strategic relationships. It requires experience working for corporations in China, with institutional knowledge and Mandarin.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and jointly developing plans to meet partner needs, PayPal's strategic objectives and assigned revenue quotas.
• Build and execute account strategies, act as a trusted advisor and negotiate commercial terms, contracts and agreements.
• Lead complex projects, determine methods and procedures for new assignments, and advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams.
• Drive product adoption, support merchant retention and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Manage pipelines, forecast revenue, report on sales activities and collaborate with product specialists, engineering, finance, pricing, legal, risk, sales operations and marketing.
• Prepare business reviews for PayPal and partner senior leadership and prepare and present them.
• Understand complex technology solutions spanning mobile, e-commerce, point of sale and processing, with a focus on merchants in China.

Required profile

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A mix of Sales, Business Development and Product experience, able to engage partners at several levels.
• Strategic thinking on new business models, product integrations and technical challenges, and the ability to build compelling value propositions.
• Experience working for corporations in China, with institutional knowledge and Mandarin.
