Sr Manager, HBM Product Development Team Leader

About the role

Micron is looking for a Product Development Team Leader (PDTL) for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). You will lead the introduction, ramp and high-volume production of HBM products aimed at delivering the lowest power per bit for machine learning and artificial intelligence. As technical program owner, you guide cross-functional teams including business units, quality, test, supply chain, packaging development and manufacturing, and drive vertical integration across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define HBM program requirements and success criteria, run Commit Convergence and Engineering Commit Review, and integrate with Stage Gate and deliverables.
• Deliver product milestones and sample commits on schedule, overseeing logistics across multi-functional teams.
• Lead critical program reviews with executives and ratify key decisions.
• Direct product development decisions and resolve issues with input from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Define and drive risk mitigation strategies across the product lifecycle.
• Connect global teams and lead change initiatives to improve work models and partnerships.
• Communicate engineering priorities, challenges and status regularly to leadership and cross-functional audiences.
• Nurture team development through mentorship and coaching, conduct performance evaluations and drive accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of demonstrated ability in product, design, yield enhancement or related engineering fields, with management and leadership experience.
• Experience in direct reporting and matrix management, leading a distributed team.
• Proven ability to lead urgent, broad, cross-functional technical issues to closure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to delegate and set priorities.
