Sr. Manager, Partner Solutions Architect

About the role

The Sr. Manager, Field Engineering (Specialist) will lead a team of Partner Solution Architects, helping to mature Databricks' consulting and SI partner development function. You will provide technical guidance to consulting partners, spanning pre‑sales teams and data‑analytics delivery organizations, and drive customer success and DBU consumption through a global partner ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and coach a high‑performing team of Partner Solutions Architects in a high‑growth environment.
• Enable partners to build comprehensive technical points of view, adopt lakehouse architecture, and embed Databricks into their solutions.
• Collaborate with partner sales, alliances, and internal technical functions to drive practice growth and revenue.
• Establish strong cross‑business relationships to ensure partner and customer success, and promote Databricks’ values.

Required profile

• 8+ years in senior pre‑sales or post‑sales roles within Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS, with experience building and managing technical teams.
• Proven player/coach ability to lead projects and work directly with partners on joint customers.
• Strong understanding of consulting services business models, revenue potential, escalation management, and project‑portfolio management for enterprise data transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (MSc preferred).
