Staff AI Product Owner, AT (Assembly & Test) Cost

About the role

Micron is hiring a Staff AI Product Owner for its Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. You will identify, develop and implement AI-driven solutions that improve cost competitiveness across Back-End (Assembly & Test) operations, partnering with AT Manufacturing, Central Cost, Procurement, Engineering and Program Management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI-enabled cost reduction and value engineering initiatives across Assembly & Test operations
• Partner with AT Cost, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Site Cost teams to identify and prioritize cost opportunities
• Develop business cases, ROI assessments and value tracking mechanisms
• Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to define requirements and deliver scalable AI products
• Analyze cost structures, processes, material consumption, labor productivity, equipment utilization and operational performance
• Quantify, monitor and communicate the financial and operational benefits of implemented solutions
• Promote adoption of AI, automation and advanced analytics, support cost intelligence frameworks and collaborate with global teams to scale solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cost management, value engineering, manufacturing optimization or operations excellence
• Mandatory experience in Assembly & Test operations within semiconductor manufacturing
• Experience leading cross-functional cost improvement or transformation initiatives
• Preferred: experience with AI, advanced analytics, digital transformation or smart manufacturing, global semiconductor manufacturing experience, consulting background
