Staff Engineer, ASIC Test (ATE)

About the role

Micron is looking for a Staff ATE Test Engineer to design and deliver test solutions for HBM-DRAM devices using modern advanced ATE platforms. You will lead test plans, ATE test programs, silicon validation and test methodologies, and drive multi-site hardware design, product characterization and high-volume production support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans and ATE programs for HBM-DRAM devices
• Drive silicon validation, characterization and yield improvement initiatives
• Design and debug test hardware, including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate test solutions into production
• Support high-volume manufacturing and troubleshoot complex test issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
• At least 3 years in test engineering with proven ATE test expertise
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills

Required skills

• ATE test program development, validation and debugging
• Advantest V93K or similar ATE platforms
• Python, C/C++ or similar scripting languages
• SoC testing concepts, digital or memory test (MBIST, characterization)
• DFT concepts such as MBIST, SCAN or pattern validation
• Test flow development, yield improvement and failure analysis
• High-volume manufacturing (HVM) experience
• Plus: semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, test data tools (STDF, JMP), lab equipment and ATE debugging
