Staff Nurse – Clinical Care & Administration

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Astra Toa Payoh. The role combines direct patient care with essential administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties such as phlebotomy, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and simple wound dressings.
• Conduct basic triage, provide medical care, and offer patient counselling.
• Dispense medication and manage patient case notes, maintaining accurate filing systems.
• Chaperone doctors and prepare patients for examinations.
• Handle administrative tasks including patient registration, payments, appointment booking, financial counselling, stock‑taking and insurance claim management.
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment, supplies and related systems.
• Maintain high standards of medical care and service delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer‑service oriented mindset and a passion for learning in the healthcare sector.
