Staff Nurse – Disability Care (Woodlands)

About the role

Metta Home is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join its disability care team in Woodlands. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their health, safety, and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and monitor the medical needs of residents.
• Supervise and guide nurse aides, health attendants, and support staff.
• Collaborate with caregivers and families to provide holistic support.
• Conduct client assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all beneficiaries.
• Assist in training and development initiatives for staff and caregivers.
• Participate in fundraising activities to support the organization’s mission.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in special‑needs or geriatric care.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Additional certification in Palliative Care is an advantage.
• Team‑oriented, compassionate, and patient‑focused.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and adaptable to changing care needs.
