Staff Nurse – Elderly Care

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide high‑quality nursing care to elderly residents in our centre. You will lead nursing activities, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with clinical standards while delivering compassionate, patient‑focused care.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with ENHS care and documentation requirements.
• Respond to emergencies, provide first aid and arrange ambulance services.
• Guide junior nurses on clinical and professional matters.
• Assess and monitor residents’ health and nutrition during daily rounds.
• Perform physical examinations and minor procedures within competency.
• Collect and dispatch specimens appropriately.
• Develop and review nursing care plans in line with residents’ wishes.
• Administer medications following the 10 Rights and monitor for side effects.
• Document nursing care accurately and report incidents.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations in the Care Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Nursing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Valid Singapore Nursing Board License (Staff Nurse).
• Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, under time constraints, and in rotating shifts including weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
