Staff Nurse – Renal Dialysis

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our renal dialysis unit. You will provide safe and effective haemodialysis care to patients while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, implement and evaluate quality dialysis outcomes for each patient.
• Perform haemodialysis cannulation and administer treatment according to established guidelines.
• Apply infection‑control procedures in line with current standards.
• Guide enrolled nurses and support staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality nursing care.
• Document treatment details, blood results and parameters accurately.
• Administer IV antibiotics, erythropoietin and blood transfusions during dialysis sessions.
• Collect water samples for culture to maintain safe water standards.
• Coordinate blood investigations and follow‑up with the hospital.
• Educate patients on nutrition and fluid compliance in partnership with dietitians.
• Respond promptly to emergencies that threaten patient safety.

Required profile

• Diploma in Nursing recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a dialysis centre.
• Willingness to work a 5.5‑day week, including weekends and public holidays.
