Staff Specialist, Global Mobility

About the role

Micron is seeking a Staff Specialist in Global Mobility to lead and optimise its international relocation and assignment programmes. In this senior‑level position you will act as the primary advisor on mobility matters, collaborating with People Operations, Finance, Tax, Legal and external service providers to deliver compliant, cost‑effective solutions that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned components of the mobility programme, from planning and execution to continuous optimisation.
• Provide consultative guidance on relocation and assignment options to People Organization partners and business stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Micron’s Relocation Management Company, ensuring service delivery excellence and driving improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with immigration, tax, employment and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate mobility budgets, forecasts and expense management, supporting financial reporting and audit processes.
• Identify operational risks and design practical solutions while maintaining policy integrity.
• Contribute to regional and global initiatives aimed at standardising and simplifying mobility processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date demand forecasts to support capacity planning and financial accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex global mobility or international relocation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of immigration, tax, employment and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to partner effectively with finance, legal, tax, payroll and external service providers.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on budget management and financial governance.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can design creative, compliant solutions.
