Strategic SEO Account Manager (AEO & GEO)

About the role

First Page, a global digital marketing agency, is looking for a Strategic SEO Account Manager to drive client growth across classic SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). The role combines commercial ownership with technical search expertise to achieve Net Revenue Retention (NRR) greater than 100%.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial health of a client portfolio, targeting 100%+ NRR by balancing retention and expansion revenue.
• Identify and pitch upsell and cross‑sell opportunities using data signals such as high traffic/low conversion or strong SEO rankings but low AI answer visibility.
• Leverage service tiers and add‑on modules (AEO, GEO, paid social) to reduce sales friction and upgrade engagements.
• Develop and execute technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO strategies, site health, content plans and authority building.
• Structure and optimise content for AI Overviews, featured snippets, voice search and People Also Ask (AEO).
• Improve client representation inside generative engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) through structured data, entity authority and citation strategies (GEO).
• Track emerging visibility metrics such as share of voice in AI answers and report performance.

Required profile

• Commercial mindset with responsibility for portfolio P&L and NRR targets.
• Proactive business consultant able to connect search visibility to client revenue.
• Data‑driven decision maker comfortable analysing traffic, conversion and AI visibility signals.
