Strategic Sourcing Manager – Outsourcing

About the role

Meta is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead outsourcing procurement initiatives that support the scale and complexity of its global operations. You will own end‑to‑end sourcing strategies for business process outsourcing, managed services, and professional services, partnering with operations, finance, legal, and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for outsourced services.
• Lead competitive sourcing events such as RFPs, RFIs, and reverse auctions.
• Negotiate multi‑year contracts, master service agreements, statements of work, and SLAs.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, conducting regular business reviews.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to align sourcing with organizational priorities.
• Perform total cost of ownership analyses and financial modeling to quantify savings.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier risk across financial, operational, geopolitical, and compliance dimensions.
• Develop sourcing playbooks, category benchmarks, and market intelligence.
• Drive continuous improvement by consolidating suppliers and optimizing contract terms.
• Communicate sourcing strategies and outcomes to leadership through business cases and executive presentations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement focused on outsourced services.
• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end sourcing processes, from RFP development to contract execution.
• Experience applying AI tools or emerging technologies to improve sourcing workflows.
• Strong background in total cost of ownership modeling, financial analysis, and business case development.
