Strength Coach for Seniors

About the role

Gym Tonic is seeking a passionate Strength Coach to lead its flagship Gym Tonic Express outlet in the east of Singapore. You will work directly with seniors, helping them build strength, prevent frailty and maintain independence through evidence‑based progressive training.

Key responsibilities

• Engage seniors, build trusted relationships and guide them through free trials and outreach programmes.
• Coach seniors on using Gym Tonic equipment and conduct pre‑ and post‑programme assessments with proprietary technology.
• Create a safe, energetic and motivating training environment.
• Monitor progress, keep members motivated and contribute to retention and referrals.
• Serve as the anchor Strength Coach for the outlet and participate in advocacy initiatives promoting active ageing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Wellness or related allied‑health discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in fitness, rehabilitation, sports or related industry.
• Valid First Aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Genuine interest in working with seniors and confidence using digital tools.
• Strong communication, personable and energetic attitude with a willingness to learn.
