Supplier Engineer – Gas Distribution & Chemical Delivery

About the role

The Supplier Engineer will develop assigned suppliers, interface with internal stakeholders and end‑user customers, and remediate product or process failures that affect manufacturing locations or customers. The role focuses on gas and liquid delivery systems used in semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical audits of semiconductor gas panel assemblies and related sub‑assemblies, assessing performance, capability and specification compliance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives at supplier sites, emphasizing cleanliness, build quality and functional reliability of gas panel assemblies.
• Lead quality problem resolution, including containment, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive actions for gas panel components.
• Identify trends and implement systemic, process‑level improvements across supplier base.
• Use enterprise quality management systems to document, track and verify corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing, preferably with gas panel or chemical/gas delivery systems.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments and understanding contamination‑control requirements.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of semiconductor gas panel assembly, gas delivery systems and OEM components such as MFCs, valves and regulators.
• Proficiency with Quality Management Systems (QMS), internal/external auditing, FMEA and basic statistical methods.
• Strong understanding of good manufacturing practices, lean principles and process controls for gas panel assembly.
