Supply Chain Executive

About the role

A permanent, onsite Supply Chain Executive position in Singapore, advertised by JAC Recruitment Singapore for a client. The client is an established importer and distributor of premium food products serving foodservice, hospitality and retail customers, expanding its operations and seeking someone to join its supply chain team. The role covers purchasing, inventory management and supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing, including preparing and processing purchase orders
• Liaise with suppliers on quotations, pricing, availability, delivery schedules and order status
• Follow up on outstanding purchases to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation and supplier information
• Monitor inventory levels and stock movements, track incoming shipments and coordinate delivery schedules
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock shortages and supply issues
• Support demand planning and procurement based on inventory requirements and supplier lead times
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth supply chain operations and fulfilment
• Prepare purchasing, inventory and supply chain reports in Excel and ERP systems, perform data entry and support process improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management or supply chain operations
• Good understanding of procurement and inventory management processes
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP, purchasing or inventory management systems is an advantage
