Supply Chain Manager – Singapore

About the role

The local Supply Chain Manager will lead the end‑to‑end supply chain for IMCD Singapore, covering demand planning, inventory management, forecasting, logistics and 3PL coordination. The role ensures compliance with IMCD global policies, drives operational excellence, cost efficiency and strong collaboration with business teams and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the full scope of the Singapore supply chain function.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory accuracy and stock availability.
• Implement and enforce IMCD Global Supply Chain Policy and risk‑control framework.
• Prepare annual supply‑chain risk analysis and action plan.
• Manage warehousing, transportation (road, air, sea) and value‑added services.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements for chemical storage, handling and import/export.
• Coordinate product flows between principals, IMCD, customers and intercompany entities.
• Document, maintain and optimise logistics processes and act as key user for MRP and inventory systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply‑chain management experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore’s logistics, warehousing, transportation and 3PL market.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management and working‑capital optimisation (preferred).
• Data‑analytics background with ability to turn data into operational insights (preferred).
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong ownership.
• Familiarity with Singapore chemical‑distribution regulations (WSH, SCDF, NEA, GHS/SDS, customs) is a plus.
