Supply Chain Planning Specialist

About the role

Mercor is seeking a remote Supply Chain Planning Specialist to design and execute long‑horizon supply‑chain tasks that support AI model evaluation. You will work independently on complex scenarios, translating business logic into deterministic rubrics.

Key responsibilities

• Build long‑horizon supply‑chain tasks with deterministic rubrics that grade agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
• Develop planning scenarios using MAPE forecasts, MRP runs, and inventory analyses to achieve target safety stock levels.
• Create S&OP capacity analyses and scenario plans with computable demand‑supply reconciliation.
• Design execution tasks such as supplier scorecards and logistics exception handling aligned with defined SLAs.
• Focus on challenging scenarios to improve AI model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply‑chain planning, S&OP, or logistics.
• Clear written communication skills with the ability to articulate reasoning step‑by‑step.
• Preferred APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or o9 platforms.
• Experience in demand forecasting, inventory theory, and S&OP operations.
• Ability to produce supply‑chain artifacts such as forecasts, S&OP decks, supplier scorecards, and exception playbooks.
