Supply Chain Specialist – Vendor Management

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑driven Supply Chain Specialist to lead vendor onboarding, maintain vendor master data, and support end‑to‑end supply chain optimisation. The role ensures data integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor onboarding and maintain accurate master data, including certifications, banking details, and contacts.
• Develop and monitor vendor performance scorecards, generate reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse supplier performance data, create dashboards, and identify process‑enhancement opportunities.
• Maintain the Vendor Compliance Manual, liaise with IT for data uploads, and support audit activities.
• Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring adherence to policies and authorization limits.
• Serve as primary point of contact for vendors, collaborating with finance, logistics, and business teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement operations, or supply chain functions.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or JDE.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
