Sustainability Office Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

Singapore Airlines is hiring for a Sustainability Office position within its Corporate Planning Division. The successful candidate will coordinate, execute and report on SIA Group's sustainability initiatives, monitor market developments and ensure compliance with existing and new regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the SIA Group Voluntary Carbon Offset Programme and engage stakeholders to keep IT and sales operations running smoothly.
• Manage the programme's offerings so they remain relevant to customers.
• Support procurement of CORSIA-compliant carbon credits by evaluating suppliers, projects and offers against SIA's requirements.
• Carry out due diligence on voluntary and compliance carbon projects.
• Coordinate and manage carbon credit purchase agreements, reviewing project documentation and delivery details to ensure CORSIA compliance, quality alignment and mitigation of greenwashing and reputational risks.
• Monitor market developments and sustainability policies proactively, and develop strategies and steps to address them.
• Support sustainability communication internally and engage stakeholders to share SIA's sustainability focus and seek collaboration on aviation decarbonisation.
• Support the preparation of SIA's annual Sustainability Report.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Environmental / Climate Science, Chemistry, Statistics, Business or Communications.
• Knowledge of environment, climate change, carbon footprint and/or energy efficiency matters.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, including handling conflicting stakeholder needs and delivering across multiple workstreams.
• Strong analytical and IT skills, and good writing and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience in sustainable aviation fuel, carbon markets and offsetting, and aviation emissions reporting is beneficial.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards (e.g. ISSB, GRI, SASB) and emissions compliance schemes such as CORSIA, EU ETS and UK ETS is beneficial.
