Systems Engineer II – Windows Server & VMware

About the role

BCD Travel is looking for a technically‑focused Systems Engineer II to support, maintain and enhance its enterprise server infrastructure. You will work with Microsoft Windows Server platforms, VMware vSphere and core Active Directory services in a globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support and engineering expertise across Windows Server environments.
• Administer, support and enhance Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 platforms.
• Implement, configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and related domain services.
• Manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere.
• Perform Windows systems administration tasks, including automation through PowerShell scripting.
• Participate in server hardware implementation, maintenance and monitoring, primarily with Dell PowerEdge servers.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to deliver solutions across multiple regions.
• Stay current with technology trends and emerging infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• Prior experience administering Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025).
• Hands‑on experience with Dell PowerEdge servers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
