Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to manage corporate tax compliance and reporting. The role involves preparing tax returns, calculating provisions, and supporting tax planning initiatives within a dynamic finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle overall tax compliance, including corporate income tax and withholding tax.
• Prepare and review annual tax returns to ensure adherence to tax laws.
• Compute monthly corporate tax provisions and deferred tax accounting.
• Conduct tax research and identify planning opportunities.
• Liaise with tax authorities on queries, audits, and compliance matters.
• Advise on tax implications for contracts, tenders, and procurement.
• Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure full compliance.
• Perform ad‑hoc tax‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in taxation, customs, or finance.
• Experience with audit or tax firms is preferred.
• Background in tax consultancy is a plus.
• Graduate degree in Business or Accounting is desirable.
• Ability to work five days a week, 10 am – 7 pm.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
