About the role
The Tax Analyst will join Chevron’s Singapore Tax Team, supporting a diverse portfolio of oil & gas businesses including refining, fuels, chemicals, trading and shipping. The role combines statutory tax compliance, dispute resolution and advisory work across corporate and indirect taxes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file annual corporate income tax returns and monthly tax provisions, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
- File quarterly GST returns and manage indirect tax obligations.
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and review related reports to mitigate compliance risk.
- Support tax audits and dispute resolution with Singapore tax authorities.
- Monitor Singapore and international tax developments and advise finance on reporting and planning requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a related field.
- 3‑4 years of tax experience in a Big 4 firm or a large multinational corporation.
- Hands‑on experience preparing corporate and indirect tax filings.
- Ability to work independently with a results‑oriented mindset.
