Tax Manager – Financial Services

About the role

This position offers a senior tax professional the chance to lead and expand a dedicated financial services tax practice. You will work closely with corporate and individual clients across banking, insurance, payments, wealth and asset management, and family offices, ensuring compliance and delivering strategic tax advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate corporate, personal tax and GST compliance and advisory engagements for financial services clients.
• Design and implement fund management structures for regional investments.
• Develop budgets, allocate resources, and monitor project delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships, set expectations, and ensure high‑quality service.
• Oversee the compliance management process, forecast workload, delegate tasks, and coach staff.
• Lead business development initiatives, prepare proposals, and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate across the Forvis Mazars network and support recruiting and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline; membership with Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of business tax experience serving financial services clients.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore tax policies for wealth and asset management.
• Strong leadership, project management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Team‑player mindset with a drive for career growth.
