Tax Manager

About the role

BIT is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and risk management across its global operations. The role covers multiple jurisdictions in Asia, Europe and offshore locations, with a focus on digital‑asset transactions and related tax treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Own tax compliance matters across the Group, including filings, provisions, audits, WHT and GST/indirect tax.
• Develop and maintain the Group’s tax risk register, tax standards and governance documentation.
• Assess uncertain tax positions for financial reporting purposes.
• Manage transfer pricing matters, prepare and review Master and Local Files, and defend TP policies during audits.
• Analyse withholding tax exposure on cross‑border intercompany transactions.
• Draft clear tax positions and guidance for business stakeholders and lead internal training sessions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers (Big 4 and other tax advisers) on technical and compliance issues.
• Provide ad‑hoc tax input for new business/product set‑up, process improvements, and corporate transactions such as restructuring or IPO readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in corporate tax, indirect tax, withholding tax and transfer pricing.
• Strong understanding of tax treatment for crypto and digital‑asset transactions.
• Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate with senior management.
