Tax Specialist – Manufacturing (East Region)

About the role

The Tax Specialist will support the manufacturing business in the East region by ensuring compliance with corporate, withholding and indirect tax obligations. You will work closely with internal finance teams and external advisors to manage audits, queries and disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax audits, queries and disputes in coordination with external advisors, tax authorities and internal finance teams.
• Prepare and review supporting documentation for tax filings, audits and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct monthly tax reviews to ensure accurate and timely compliance for corporate income tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to identify and mitigate tax risks and strengthen control processes.
• Coordinate tax training and knowledge‑sharing sessions for overseas finance teams.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and advise on potential business impacts.
• Support tax‑related projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in an MNC or professional services environment.
• Experience in tax compliance, tax audits and tax risk management.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Indonesia tax regulations (advantageous).
