Team Lead, Social Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead, Social Engagement to drive the social media strategy for our lifestyle and entertainment portfolio, including the Kakee app, POWER 98, 88.3 JIA and the Music & Drama Company. The role sits within the Creative Innovation Department and reports to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that boosts brand awareness, audience engagement and user growth across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of content producers, community managers and data analysts, as well as external vendors and freelancers.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to align paid and organic social efforts for maximum impact.
• Oversee creation of platform‑specific content, including short‑form videos, graphics, live streams and trend‑driven posts.
• Develop influencer partnerships and user‑generated content campaigns.
• Use data insights and social listening to refine content strategy, optimise engagement and report performance to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Tech, and other internal teams to meet social engagement KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in social media strategy within a fast‑paced media or entertainment environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable turning analytics into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across creative, product and business functions.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience managing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and user‑generated content tactics.
