Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead – Corporate Credit Analyst

About the role

This senior position leads a corporate credit analysis team, ensuring rigorous due‑diligence, risk assessment, and compliance with banking policies. The role balances strategic policy development with hands‑on credit review and team mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Review and revise due‑diligence reports submitted by credit analysts, providing clear opinions.
• Communicate with business units to enhance overall credit structures and conditions.
• Examine customer credit ratings and guide team members in preparing pre‑committee meeting reports.
• Formulate and update internal policies and credit‑assessment guidelines for assigned industries.
• Assign industry coverage and customers to analysts, cultivating industry experts within the team.
• Organise industry research, respond to regulatory and audit inquiries, and manage feedback and rectifications.
• Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, identify risk points, propose control measures, and determine group‑wide credit risk.
• Monitor commitments, issue early‑warning recommendations, and support other departmental tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate credit analysis.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or ACCA are a plus.
• Strong financial and credit‑risk analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication, responsibility, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese.
