Team Leader – HVAC Chiller Operations

About the role

Join Trane Technologies as a Team Leader responsible for delivering high‑quality chiller overhaul, start‑up and maintenance projects at customer sites. You will lead engineers and technicians in the field, ensuring sustainable and efficient climate solutions for buildings and transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute chiller overhaul, start‑up and preventive maintenance tasks on time.
• Lead a team of engineers or technicians with basic ACMV and refrigerant‑handling expertise.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on chillers and related HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate troubleshooting activities, collect data and prepare management reports.
• Liaise with customers to resolve technical issues on‑site.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure smooth job coordination.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Assess team performance and recommend appropriate rewards or corrective actions.
• Undertake any additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in chiller systems/air‑conditioning or 3 years in project handling.
• Positive attitude with strong team‑bonding capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driver’s licence.

• Basic ACMV and refrigerant handling.
