Tech Support Assistant Intern

About the role

A growing media company in Singapore is looking for a highly motivated Tech Support Intern to join its tech team. You will work with an experienced team and get exposure to how a media company operates. The internship lasts a minimum of 16 weeks (4 months).

Key responsibilities

• Resolve tech support requests from employees, covering hardware, software and network connectivity.
• Provide first-level desktop, network and application support.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across TSL SG and its overseas counterparts.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
• Support and maintain physical security systems such as CCTV and door access.
• Collaborate with the HR team on IT-related onboarding and exit processes.
• Assist with asset tracking and asset management, and take part in ad-hoc projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, or currently studying for one.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 16 weeks (4 months).

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of operating systems, software and hardware, including Windows and Mac OS.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment, managing several tasks at once.
