Technical Manager - BEOL Process Development (Power)

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for a technical manager to lead a team developing and qualifying BEOL process flows, recipes and BEOL devices for Power product platforms. The role also supports the development of modules needed for advanced packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop BEOL process flows, recipes and devices to meet performance, reliability and defect-free manufacturing requirements.
• Establish methods and processes to test the devices and structures being developed.
• Develop and implement process control and inspection methods so products are flaw-free and work as designed.
• Manage the team responsible for BEOL process and device development for the Power product line.
• Lead advanced packaging development for Power IVR.
• Analyze reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with internal and external customers on assigned items.
• Define the technology roadmap for BEOL-related Power products.

Required profile

• Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or another relevant degree.
• More than 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Preferred: Master's in Electrical Engineering, R&D experience in semiconductor BEOL flows, and experience in technical management.
