Technical Product Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer serves as the technical focal point for product performance, system reliability, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with engineering, product development, field service, and customer teams to support new product introductions and resolve complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in New Product Introductions (NPI) and Early Learning Shipments, ensuring successful product deployment and customer adoption.
• Provide third‑level escalation support for complex hardware and software stability issues and lead failure‑analysis activities.
• Support Alpha and Beta site deployments, including installation, calibration, validation, and performance verification.
• Review and initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with data‑driven recommendations.
• Generate and present system performance data such as MTBF, MTBI, availability, and uptime metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline.
• Experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment, reliability labs or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of hardware systems, software integration, product reliability and engineering change management processes.
