Technical Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end semiconductor equipment development programs. You will be responsible for delivering scope, schedule, cost, quality and performance throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own program execution from concept through product release, ensuring delivery of scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Lead program planning activities, including work breakdown structures, master schedules, resource planning and budget management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and business stakeholders.
• Monitor program performance against key metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Identify risks and issues, lead mitigation planning and drive timely resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex product development programs in semiconductor equipment or related high‑technology industries.
• Strong understanding of New Product Development (NPD) and Product Development Process (PDP) methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
