Technical Project Manager – Cyber Security (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead cyber‑security initiatives across the bank. You will work with cross‑functional teams to design, evaluate and deliver secure solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and solution workshops with security architecture, engineering, infrastructure, application and risk teams.
• Translate business and security objectives into functional, technical and operational requirements.
• Review and challenge solution designs, vendor recommendations and implementation approaches.
• Plan feasibility studies, proof‑of‑concepts and technical evaluations with clear success criteria.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, RFI/RFP specifications and lead the end‑to‑end sourcing process.
• Coordinate technical, functional and commercial evaluations and support contract negotiations.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery from initiation through implementation and handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex security‑focused projects in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements and align stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess architectures, data flows and security controls.
• Experience preparing RFI/RFP documents and leading vendor selection processes.
• Ability to drive technical decisions to closure with clear rationale and accountability.
