Technical Writer - MaaS Platform

About the role

Bitdeer, a technology company for Bitcoin mining and AI cloud, is looking for a Technical Writer to own end-to-end developer documentation for its MaaS platform. The role covers API reference, getting-started guides and release notes for hosted chat, completion, embedding and fine-tuning endpoints. It turns OpenAPI specifications, the model catalog and endpoint behaviour into accurate, versioned documentation and sets up a release notes cadence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the OpenAPI-driven API reference for chat/completions, embeddings, fine-tuning and model routing, verifying request/response schemas, error codes and rate limits against staging and production.
• Work with backend engineers to capture new parameters, deprecations and edge cases before release.
• Design and maintain onboarding guides, including authentication, SDK quickstarts and common integration patterns, and keep sample code tested against the live API.
• Establish a recurring release notes process tied to model catalog updates, new endpoints, pricing changes and breaking API changes, coordinating with product and engineering release cycles.
• Own the docs-as-code pipeline (Markdown/MDX, Git-based review, OpenAPI linting and generation) and organise the documentation so it stays navigable as the model catalog grows.
• Interview engineers, PMs and support staff to extract technical detail, sit on model launch and API design reviews, and close the loop on documentation usage signals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional technical writing, with at least 2 years on API or SDK documentation for a developer-facing product, ideally at an API-first, infrastructure or cloud/AI platform company.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and generating reference docs from them.
• A portfolio of getting-started guides, quickstarts or tutorials written from scratch.
• Experience running a release notes or changelog process for a frequently shipped product.

Required skills

• Familiarity with a docs-as-code toolchain: Markdown/MDX, Git-based version control and review, and static site generators or documentation platforms (e.g. Docusaurus, Mintlify, ReadMe, GitBook).
• Comfort reading Go, Python or TypeScript code and API traces to verify documentation accuracy.
