Technician – EMC Test Lab

About the role

CSA Group is seeking a Technician to join its EMC test laboratory. You will work on complex electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test plans, evaluate product performance, and document results for a variety of technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex EMC test plans and produce detailed reports.
• Inspect and test simpler customer samples, communicating with customers during setup and testing.
• Operate and maintain basic test equipment, perform minor maintenance and calibration tasks.
• Apply relevant product and test standards, ensuring compliance.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including overtime, and perform other lab duties as assigned.

Required profile

• ITE or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education.
• Strong team player with initiative and willingness to work night shifts (6 pm – 7 am).
• Open to candidates with no prior experience.
